Labels

idtrac® offers Pressure sensitive Labels and Tags that are used to mark and track products, equipment, and life stock in various applications. The Labels and Tags can be produced in two different ways, Off-Site and On-Site.

Off-Site Printing - This method is more suited for large runs of fixed design and data. The printing is done at the supplier’s facility.

On-Site Printing - This method is more suited for small runs of variable data. The printing is done at the customer’s site close to the point of requirement,

There are also two types of printing technologies used. One is Direct Thermal and the other is Thermal Transfer.

Direct Thermal Printing – The print head of the printer is heated to transfer the image on to the label, which is coated with heat sensitive materials. This method is favored for mostly internal applications. Like price marking within a store for a Point of Sale application.

Thermal Transfer Printing – The print head of the printer is heated to transfer an image from a wax, wax/resin or resin ribbon onto the Label or Tag. This method is favored for external use like shipping Labels and Asset tracking Labels.

idtrac® team will work with your team to analyze your requirements and provide the best solution for your application.
